We are seeking reliable and motivated production operatives required for our client, a well-established market leader in their sector, to join their production team in Frome. This is a temporary to permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term development and excellent company benefits.
Role Overview:
As a Production Operative you will working as part of a team across rotating shifts, you will be trained to run high-speed packing line machinery, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery
- Ensure correct supply of packaging to the filling lines
- Carry out on-line quality assurance checks
- Palletise finished products and safely transport to cold store
- Support efforts to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and Health & Safety
What We’re Looking For:
- A proactive and dependable approach
- Flexibility to work across a three-shift rotation
- A focus on quality and safety in all tasks
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an advantage, but not essential – full training provided
Additional Information:
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK – please confirm your status in your application
- A driving licence is preferred but not essential
- Applicants must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Frome before starting
Hours:
Shifts: Rotating – 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am
