Machine Assistants

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Assistants to join our clients team.

As Machine assistant is a vital part and piece of the production line, you are one of the last individuals to check the quality and standard of the products before packaging the product up accordingly; to meet the customer’s requirement/request. The role requires a keen eye for detail and you will be packaging and sorting products at the end of the line.

• Production based background
• Willing to build knowledge of new skills and tasks
• A good understanding of working in a safe manner
• Working as part of a team or able to work on own initiative
• Contribute to a zero tolerance for non-conforming products.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Positive and professional attitude
• Experience of working within the paper packaging industry would be an advantage
• The hours are 37.5 hours a week, over a 3-rotating shift pattern that include mornings, evenings and nights.

Requirements:
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
– Strong mechanical knowledge is useful but not essential.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Salary: From £484.84 per week (Machine Assistant T3 starting salary)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday working on a three shift pattern

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

• Picking & packing: 1 year (preferred)
