We are looking for two experienced Weighbridge Clerk/Administrators to start with one of our reputable clients in the South Wales region.
The role will include, but is not limited to;
• Previous experience within transport and logistics would be an advantage along with Excellent IT/Administrative skills.
• Weighbridge functions - Weighing vehicles in/out, issuing of loading and delivery tickets to drivers, loading and delivery ticket reconciliation to ensure quality and legal compliance is met, updating of loading board.
• Aiding SW Planners with raising/amending customer orders within SAP / FP / VAS IT systems, Validate all orders within FP, logging of return product and nil deliveries, answering customer/driver phone calls and updating/logging customer out of hours board, assisting with driver wages, POD/Invoice queries along with general admin duties.
• Working with the Despatch Controller to undertake - Audits, Compliance checks, creation and monitoring of KPI's/graphs, trend analysis, Continuous Improvements idea's along with taking and distributing meeting notes.
This is a full time long term rolling contract. It will require you to work and follow a shift pattern. Shift times are:
05:00-14:00, 14:00-23:00, 21:00-06:00, 08:00-17:00
You will also be expected to work one day over the weekend on a fortnightly basis.
Working hours are 45 hours per week.
Hourly rate is £9.00 when training, once fully trained, your pay will increase to £10.00 per hour.
