Quality Technician

Job Description

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Quality Technician to start for their ever growing and developing business.

Applicants must have experience within quality checking. Those who have experience within the beauty sector will have an advantage however training will be provided. 

Candidates will be responsible for ensuring both intern and external supplier goods meet the companies quality standards. You will lead and drive improvements in all Quality Operating Standards & H&S procedures. Using lifting equipment in line with operating standard and compliance to manual handling and making sure that both individual KPI targets for hazards and near miss reporting are achieved. 

Candidates will have an excellent attention to detail to product standards, undertake all required tests on relevant samples in accordance with the quality system and specifications. Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is correct, taking and making decisions on relevant stock and entering information on the appropriate stock management system. Some administrative duties will be required including timely completion and filling records and management of retained samples. 

You must always maintain a high standard of housekeeping and working to good laboratory practices and follow all COSHH procedures at all times. 

A great attitude and timekeeping skills will be required and always looking to strive and go the extra mile. 

Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00 - 40 hours per week

Access to transport will be required due to the location of work.
