Legal Secretary

Job Description

Our client who have offices across the south west are seeking a legal secretary to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.

You will be working for a reputable business who pride themselves on the services they offer, always remaining professional with an exemplary service to clients. 

As a legal secretary you will be providing secretarial support to fee earners and ideally have legal experience however someone with strong secretarial experience would still be considered. 

General responsibilities: 

  • Diary Management 
  • Assisting and supporting fee earners with legal documentation both preparation and drafting. 
  • Audio Typing 
  • Managing documentation including photo copying and scanning along with general filing. 
  • Answering incoming calls and taking detailed messages when needed. 

Skills and experience required: 

  • Experienced within Audio typing 
  • Previous Secretarial / PA experience a must 
  • Legal experience desirable but not essential 
  • Good level of experience and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
