Tax Senior

Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our client in Corsham who are seeking a Tax Senior to join the tax department of their accountancy firm on a permanent basis.

As a tax senior you will be responsible for providing quality tax services to clients and ensure clients are compliant.

You will be undertaking tax compliance for clients which will include the following duties;

• Self Assessment returns.
• Perform sole trade and partnership tax checks.
• Preparing and submitting capital gains and declarations.
• Ad hoc project works required such as forecasting personal tax payments for clients.
• Assist with general tax department deadlines to ensure all are met and payment reminders sent.
• Help to develop and maintain the internal systems to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all tax work.
• Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client’s businesses.
• Provide tax advice to clients on an ad-hoc basis as queries arise.
• Assist with tax planning as required.
• Join in client meetings as required.
• Highlight any cross-sell opportunities to the tax manager.

This role is working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm and will be office based, there is flexibility to work from home when needed, our client would also consider part time hours.

Salary is between £24k – £28k although with experience this can be negotiable.
