We are seeking a Quality Inspector to be responsible for the inspection of parts and/or assemblies made to company/customer drawings and specifications.
As a Quality Inspector the ideal candidate will have experience in engineering, be able to work independently and the ability to use precision measuring equipment (CMM, Handheld Measuring Equipment etc), although training will be given to the successful candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect the quality of products and components purchased or manufactured using the most appropriate inspection/quality control methods.
Update or create work instructions and record technical set up information.
Documenting any quality issues and recording these.
Maintain calibrated test equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
Be a self-starter that can work independently towards set targets and goals.
Attention to detail.
Capability of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Experience in inspection of parts through various means.
Computer & Administration Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher)
