We are currently seeking production operative to join our clients team.
The ideal candidate will have a back ground in manufacturing have good communication skills written and verbal.
Job Purpose:
Work diligently, flexibly and proactively to support the delivery of safe, efficient and cost effective production to the quality expected.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed and report any breaches in quality, food safety and health and safety procedures immediately to your line manager.Report any site security issues promptly to your line manager
You will undertake production tasks as delegated and proactively support team members to ensure all aspects of production are completed accurately, efficiently and safely as measured by current KPIs
As instructed, prepare for the next production run . Complete all production and cleaning tasks for each run in accordance with schedules provided by your line manager ensuring food safety, health and safety and company standards as met and ensure that the production area is clean and tidy and all spillages are removed immediately
Maintain personal cleanliness in order to meet food safety and health and safety standards you must be able to work with management to continually improve efficiencies on the line.
Undertake the cleaning and maintaining of machinery and equipment in line with cleaning schedules to maintain food safety and health and safety standards
Complete appropriate paperwork relating to production checks as delegated
Undertake any other tasks as reasonably required by your line manager in line with business needs.
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 -17:00
