Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting a local client of ours in Trowbridge in the recruitment of an administrator to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Overview of the role: 

You will be responsible for completing a variety of administrative tasks and being a crucial contact for enquiries, providing information about courses and upcoming events.

Key Duties: 

  • Using an internal database to create and promote courses and ensuring details are up to date on the website.
  • Process applications and providing administrative support for a variety of activities.
  • Using a variety of communication methods to liaise with teachers, students, parents and colleagues.
  • Collating feedback, logging attendances and chasing for outstanding data to ensure accurate reporting for KPI’s.
  • Liaising with school finance departments to track and process fees.
  • Creating user accounts and groups for online learning platforms and communicating login details.
  • Answering general enquiries and providing information regarding events.
  • Actively ensure and promote safe guarding of all participants engaging with the programme and following child protection policy and safeguarding.
  • Inputting and maintaining complete and accurate records of internal databases and carrying out routine checks.
  • Providing support at conferences and events held face to face and online.  The role may involve occasional time away overnight to take part in conferences that may fall on a Saturday.

To be considered for this role, you will have excellent communication as you will be required to communicate and build relationships with key stake holders and working with colleagues across different departments.

  • You will have previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office word and excel  including knowledge of using Microsoft teams and SharePoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Confident in planning and prioritising workload.

The role is working Monday to Friday 37.5 per week with the option of working hybrid and splitting the week in the office and working from home.

Salary £11.98 per hour (£23,336 annually)  working on a temporary to permanent position, ideally we are looking for candidates that can be available immediately or with a shorter notice period.
